The Initial Meeting With Your Engagement Specialist

At Brilliance In Diamonds - The Engagement Specialists our main priority is assisting you in building the ring of your dreams. This process entails finding out all of the important aspects that will make up your perfect engagement ring. The Engagement Specialists goal is to not only assist you in this process, but also educate you along the way.

We make finding the right diamond and setting a fun process! Initially we will begin to discuss the different elements that make up an engagement ring. We will look at the different diamond shapes and which are most appealing to you. Usually everyone has one or two favorites whether it be round, princess, cushion, pear, oval, etc. We take a look at real life examples of these diamonds and discuss what makes each one unique and beautiful.

Once we narrow down the shape our focus shifts back to the educational aspect of diamonds. We will go over the 4 C's (Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat) of diamonds and illustrate with examples how each "C" affects the diamond and its value. You will even get the opportunity to examine and look at diamonds through a jeweler's 10x magnification loupe. Upon finding the perfect shape diamond and the corresponding C's combination that works best for you we will then take a look at the setting. Many times people will bring pictures of rings they like, ask me to Google a particular celebrity's ring or even have examples on their phone. This is all helpful information in narrowing down the right setting to match with the perfect diamond. There is no setting to elaborate or too detailed to make. If you can dream it, we can build it. The Engagement Specialist will then discuss the process of making that perfect setting from the Computer Aided Design renderings all the way to the beautiful finished product.

When you leave that first meeting you will have a clear idea of what makes Brilliance In Diamonds - The Engagement Specialists different. We care about you and making sure your experience with us was educational, informative, and most of all...fun!
